Scolecite Sun Specimen from Chandwad, Maharashtra, India 3in x 1.7in
These are a unique find that was originally discovered approximately a decade ago. The Scolecite feature hematite inclusions, which causes the orange hue. They are accompanied by a Botryoidal Chalcedony formation. They appear in a Sun or Sunflower shape, hence the nickname for the material. These are found in a forest area in Chandwad, India.
